We begin with a conversation about the areas you’d like to focus on — whether that’s compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, academic or pastoral provision, Early Years, or boarding.
From there, we agree on the most suitable package to deliver clear, actionable insights and practical support.
Once the scope of work is agreed, I meet with key staff to explore the chosen area of school life. Through discussion and review of relevant evidence, I produce a clear report highlighting strengths, identifying gaps, and suggesting practical next steps.
After you’ve had time to review the findings, we’ll meet again to discuss priorities and agree on a focused action plan for improvement.
In most cases, my work takes place in your school. While remote support is possible when needed, the most valuable insights come from being on site — engaging directly with staff and experiencing the school in action. Only compliance checks and report reviews are carried out remotely.
That depends on the scale of support you need. Some Heads request a focused review of a single area, which can be completed in a day. Combinations of packages can be selected, according to a Head's preference.
Other Heads — particularly those new to post — choose a more comprehensive package to gain a full overview of the school while leading day-to-day operations.
Where the review includes boarding and Early Years, the full programme typically extends over nine days.
